Carba-Tec Heavy Duty Digital
Angle Box
Designed for accurately measuring blade angles, digital angle boxes have been available for a while. We now offer a solid, heavy-duty, high powered unit with features you won’t find in other models. It features a solid metal body to handle workshop knocks and bumps and is powered by a 9 volt battery (instead of the traditional watch style battery). These features ensure long life and consistently accurate results down to .05 degrees.

The large capacity battery (not included) is enclosed inside the unit body. Side mounted magnets make calibration a breeze - there’s no need to turn the unit sideways to stick it onto the blade. This means more precise readings and it also means that the display reads horizontally instead of vertically. Just zero it on the table, slide it over, stick it to the blade and tilt. The new heavy duty model also features directional arrows to indicate the direction of the tilt angle. The unit also includes a screwdriver and storage box.

Carba-Tec Digital Height Gauge
A simple yet effective tool that’s just as at-home on your router table, spindle moulder, drill press or mortiser as it is on your table saw. Many other digital units have the readout running vertically – this makes for difficult reading and it makes it almost impossible to use on a left tilting saw. However, with this unit we’ve taken the ‘pain in the neck’ out of setting accurate heights and angles by offering an easy to read horizontal digital readout. This makes it dead easy to set your cutter or blade height to within .01mm or 1/128”. The readout also features decimal millimetres, decimal inches and fractional inch readings. Its large and heavy metal base ensures its stability on your machine’s work surface.

Carba-Tec Digital Mitre Gauge
Probably our most exciting offer is our new Carba-Tec Digital Mitre Gauge. This will change the way you produce mitre cuts and will speed up the whole process of repeating these cuts. There’s no need for fancy home-built jigs or trial and error cuts. This Digital Mitre Gauge will replace your standard table saw mitre gauge and, in fact, will fit any machine that has a ¾” x 3/8” mitre slot. The steel body is manufactured to accept a homemade sacrificial fence but will also accept most aftermarket mitre fence components, such as the Kreg Mitre Fence. The large digital readout will give accurate readings as small as .05 degrees and has mitre capability up to 60degrees in either direction. The mitre gauge is simply zeroed off your fitted blade to ensure true cuts and also permits adjustment on the bar to eliminate play in the mitre track, play that will inevitably lead to nasty gaps in your mitre joints.
