Featuring a cast iron bed this lathe is the perfect spot to begin with.

Constructed primarily of cast iron and steel. Its swing of 140mm diameter and distance of 250mm between centres are large for a machine of this overall size.

The spindle is powered by a 1/5hp motor that has a reversing switch and an electronic variable speed drive that delivers spindle speeds of 100 to 2,000rpm. Manual or powered leadscrew feed can be used for thread cutting and an extensive range of optional accessories is available.

The lathe is supplied with an 80mm diameter three jaw self-centring chuck, tailstock centre and service tools. Maximum cutting tool shank size is 8mm. An optional compound slide is available.

Standard accessories include an 80mm three jaw chuck, and MT1 dead centre, a wrench set and an oil bottle.
