Solid cast iron construction with a chisel capacity of 5/8” (16mm). The vertical feed handle can be re-positioned at various points for operator comfort. Table movement is via handwheel for longitudinal adjustment. The adjustment uses the traditional dovetailed gib system, ensuring smooth, trouble free operation. A length stop and quick work clamps are fitted as standard equipment as is the quick release vice on the main table. The half speed nut arrangement on the vice is excellent when doing work of differing sizes. The head weight is counterbalanced by a gas strut for fatigue free use. The vertical slide is fitted with an easy read scale, rack and pinion gears and two limit stops. The unit is supplied with 4 chisels: 1/4”, 5/6”, 3/8”, 1/2” and open leg stand.
