The historic Stanley #1 Odd Job layout tool is born again. We now understand what
old-timers used to say..."All you needed was a #1 Odd Job, a hammer and a
saw and you could build anything!"
Made by Stanley from 1888 to the early 1930s, it seems as useful today as it would
have back then. We guarantee that if you pull it out now, you'll be the 'talk
of the shop'. Made of solid brass and steel, it is carefully machined on all sides.
It's an inside mitre and try square, a depth gauge, a scribing tool for arcs and
circles, a T-square, a depth marking scribe (excellent for marking out mortises)
and a plumb level. It also includes a 6" brass edge ruler (standard with
every Odd Job). An optional 12" brass edged ruler is also available.
