This moisture meter from Merlin uses similar scanning technology to its more expensive cousin (model PM1E). Maximum scanning depth is 20mm and minimum board thickness is 10mm. Moisture measurement range from 6% to 30%. Different species can be placed in six pre-determined groups that can be selected by a switch conveniently located on the front of the instrument.
