Handcrafted from the finest alloy steel, steamed beech and solid brass fittings, these beautiful saws are taper ground to the back of the blade to reduce binding in the workpiece. The blade is ’breasted’ or slightly convex at the front to counteract the swinging action of handsawing to allow more teeth to be in contact with the timber. Available in 22" or 26" sizes.
