Made from durable plastic, this base can accept 7-1/4" portable saws without the blade plunging through the base to cut the workpiece. When using the universal base with a power saw you will need to drill holes to match your base. When using it as a router base you will need to cut your own hole to allow sufficient router bit clearance. You can then screw the router directly to the ProGrip base from underneath.

The base clips onto standard ProGrip rails as shown in the photo above left. Usable base dimension is 190 x 175mm. Weight: 550g.
