For making quick and accurate dovetail measurements and cuts, an accurate dovetail marker is the best tool available. With riding ledges on both sides, Veritas’® 2" x 2" dovetail markers can be flipped over to mark both slopes of a dovetail. They are designed so that the entire edge rides on the reference face even when marking edge dovetails.

Made from anodised aluminium, these markers are durable and won’t soil your work. Available in set of two with traditional ratios of 1:6 for softwood and 1:8 for hardwood, or the new 14" model for thin material providing stronger interlock (see thumbnail image below).
