A weakness of bench grinders is that their tool rests are virtually useless. It’s nearly impossible to fine one with a rest that is solid and square. Veritas’® tool rest can be used with 6" or 8" grinders and mounts directly in front of the grinder. It can be easily folded out of the way for freehand grinding. An angle-setting gauge is included for bevel angles.
