Veritas’® specially designed spokeshave has the same low cutting angle as traditional spokeshaves but cutting depth has been improved substantially. Instead of being variably-set, requiring projection adjustment, the blade is fixed, forming the sole of the tool. The toe piece is adjustable, allowing you to control depth of cut.

Used in one orientation, the toe piece is suited to convex and flat work. Flipped 180°, the tool can be used on concave work. This tool’s ergonomic design and versatility allow it a much higher ability to handle precision work than ordinary spokeshaves.
