With a ductile cast iron body accurately machined and ground flat to a high standard, the Veritas® router plane is ideal for cutting dadoes and grooves, for inlay or intarsia work, or for cleaning out areas to a precise depth. Blade depth is set with a fine screw feed and a positive locking depth stop sets the depth of cut.

A spring loaded collar holds the blade, allowing easy blade adjustment and removal. The knobs are positioned for comfort and control. Includes three high carbon steel cutters: a 6.35mm forged straight blade, a two piece 12.7mm straight blade and a two piece 12.7mm pointed blade for final smoothing. Weighs 900g. The fence (supplied with the plane) can be positioned on either side and works on both straight and curved pieces. A sharpening jig is included for sharpening the 12.7mm blades.
