Designed to perform the functions of round, triangular and oval burnishers, this one has a mirror finish to guarantee smooth hooks on cabinet scrapers. The unique shape lets you apply the right amount of pressure at each stage of the process on scrapers of all sizes.

The superior surface finish is very important to avoid galling and hook tearing. Hardened to Rc 62 - 64, this burnisher is much harder than the scrapers it is used on. Its ample length (11" or 279mm including handle) makes it easier to gauge and hold burnishing angles.

Although straightforward in concept, it took Veritas nearly three years to get a mill run of steel to the correct shape and to perfect the polishing process that makes this burnisher the best on the market.
