Use your 500-Series Pocket-Hole Jig to create compact pocket holes
This unique Micro-Pocket™ Drill Guide Kit creates a 25% smaller pocket hole (15/16" long) that works great for smaller projects, thinner stock, and tighter repairs.

Micro-Pocket™ holes work great in virtually every application where you’d use standard pocket holes, and are especially good for 1/2" (12mm) thick material and narrow stock, down to 1" (25mm) wide. Because the bit removes less material, drill strokes are faster and easier.

Just insert the Micro-Pocket™ Drill Guide block into your Pocket-Hole Jig 520PRO, then use the Micro-Pocket™ drill bit to create the compact pocket holes.

For use with 500-Series Pocket-Hole Jigs. Compatible with Kreg® pan-head pocket-hole screws.

Compatibility:

  • Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig 520PRO
  • Kreg Micro-Pocket™ Drill Bit with Stop Collar & Hex Wrench

Important notes on working with Kreg Micro-Pocket Drill Guide:

Due to material variations (in particular metric vs imperial sheet goods) it is advisable to double-check all jig settings, stop collar position and screw length selection PRIOR to drilling into your workpiece.  Use scrap pieces of the same material and perform test joins to verify a satisfactory Kreg Pocket-Hole join.  Manual adjustments can then be made to ensure the drill point does not break through the bottom of the pocket-hole, and that the tip of the screw does not break out through your workpiece.  This check is an important step when joining ½” to ½” or thinner material, where the margin for error is very small.  Remember that you have three adjustments that can be made to get the perfect Kreg Pocket-Hole joint:

1.       Drill bit stop collar position

2.       Jig position on the workpiece (which may require thin packing material behind workpiece)

3.       Screw length
