The Rockler Taper / Straight Line Jig removes the danger of cutting tapers, with the two hold down clamps firmly securing the workpiece on the sled, the adjustable fence sits comfortable of non-slip sandpaper type tape, preventing any movement.

The mitre bar fits neatly in a 3/8" x 3/4" mitre slot on a tablesaw, router table, belt sander or bandsaw. As the jig can only move in two directions, when mounted in the mitre slot, with the handle positioned well away from the blade, it a very safe jig to use when cutting tapers.

Plus, with the mitre bar removed it doubles as a stable straight line ripping jig.
