Spirals and textures have always been something that has not been easy or quick to do. The Robert Sorby Texturing Cutter is a multi-toothed cutter that allows this to be achieved. It is one of five cutters for the large texturing and spiralling tools.
A diamond file or honing stone, from our DMT range, is used to maintain this cutter, honing both bevelled faces. Regular honing is the best way to get a long life out of these types of replaceable cutters. Sharpening can be done with the cutter mounted on the tool.
