With a height-adjustable palm rest for better in-hand registration, these miniature planes are easily maneuvered and permit fine, controlled cuts. The investment-cast steel body has a 45° bed angle and a fixed mouth, and uses a brass retention screw to secure the included 30° bevel A2 tool steel blade (0.06" thick by 9.5mm wide). The soles are approximately 38mm long by 15mm wide and are available in four profiles. The concave and convex planes have curved soles with a side-to-side radius of 12.7mm. The double-convex (spoon) version has a 12.7mm side-to-side radius and a 100mm front-to-back radius. Replacement blades are available separately. The bubinga palm rest is removeable for work in tight spaces. Made in Canada.
