Project Description
The Sausage Dog Tray is a great intermediate power carving project that took approximately 3 hours to complete from start to finish. If a Sausage Dog isn’t your preference, you can adapt the tray project to suit your animal of choice!
Tools Used:
- TURBO Plane: debarking (no pun intended!), rough shaping and planing the flat tray surface
- Ball Gouge: detailing the rounded areas of the project (i.e neck, ears, legs)
- Contour Sander: sanding & finishing tight curves and details efficiently
