Carbatec Oscillating Edge Sander

Finish faster with this Big Boy! The Carbatec wide belt 6" (150mm), oscillating edge sander is just the ticket for production shop , clubs, schools or your home workshop. The belt can be used in the vertical (as shown) or in the horizontal position, against the supplied sub-fence. A quick action release under the main cast iron table allows for fast and efficient switching between the two modes. Curved sanding can be completed on the included cast wing, that simply quick connects to the motor end, allowing inside curves to be completed with ease.  The 100mm (4") dust port provides excellent dust collection, and provides some good extraction when curve sanding too.  Ocillating Edge Sanders are the best machine for final finishing on wide faces, such as boxes, and tiying up joints etc.

A new design NVR (No Volt Relaese) switch is fitted standard, and also includes a quick action emergency stop switch for your safety.

The belt runs over a graphite slip cloth that provides cooler running and longer life for your sandpaper and lightens the load on the motor. The cast iron precision ground tables rise and fall with manual adjustment and provide heft and positive footing along with the sturdy pressed metal base with locakable storage cabinet.

Requires a 15A / 230V Circuit, and adequate (min 1200CFM) dust extraction.
