Using long life ceramic guides allows for a much larger blade contact area than traditional bearing guides. The result is more support for the blade and greater cutting accuracy.
The braked motor provides sufficiant power to operate at the full 400+mm cutting depth. There is a quick blade release tension lever that makes blade changing faster and this is complimented with an easy to view blade tension scale indicator to easily ensure correct tension set up.
