The Bandsaw Buddy is a handy tool that allows you to check the alignment of the bandsaw blade to the face of the fence. Truing the fence to a blade can be a tricky job. The Bandsaw Buddy simplifies this - two rare earth magnets hold the tool firmly on the blade, with an additional recess for the set of the teeth, providing a true reading off the blade. At 250mm long, it is an easy task to then spot any discrepancy in the fence alignment and make necessary adjustments. Aligning your fence to your blade allows for even and consistent cuts.

The handy magnets will also keep it safely stored on the bandsaw’s frame when not in use, while a scale on the tip helps set the bandsaw fence width for cutting veneers or thin boards. Holes along the Buddy’s length at 12.5mm intervals allow you to draw arcs or circles in 25mm steps from 75mm to 400mm, a useful feature for marking curves or when cutting bowl blanks.

Accurately machined from anodised aluminium, it also makes a handy straight edge.
