These livestreams are presented by Olivia O’Connor. Based in picturesque South Gippsland, Victoria, Olivia specialises in woodcarving, custom handmade rocking horses and rocking horse restoration. In 2017 Olivia was awarded the George Alexander Fellowship from the International Specialised Skills Institute which led her to America in early 2018 where she studied traditional carving with master carver, Mary May and wooden carousel carving, painting and restoration with master carousel restorer, Rosa Patton. She’s also spent time learning 16th Century pattern carving with Peter Follansbee.
