They look beautiful, they feel beautiful, and they excel at protecting your tools against the natural elements, as well as keeping the razor edge protected against nicks in storage. They age well as the leather develops a lovely patina and, looked after, will provide you with many, many years of service.
This Chisel Roll is made of high-quality Australian full Tanhide leather. This deluxe option is the hardest wearing of all the leathers and, while a bit more heavy-duty than suede, is still supple enough to roll nicely, which will only improve over time. The stitching is supported by brass studs, and a third layer helps protect against cutting through seams. Designed for cabinet chisels and with eight pockets, it will hold a range of sizes up to 42mm wide x 285mm in length. Fully opened, this roll measures 470mm wide and 320mm tall. A simple leather strap with double "D" buckles completes the tool roll to bind your chisels safely away until needed next.
