The Kreg® Precision Router Lift helps you elevate your routing capabilities by providing precise control when making router setup changes or changing bits. The lift replaces the standard insert plate in a router table and accepts many barrel type or fixed base router or power units — without the need for adapters or modifications — in a high-performance carriage that you raise, lower and lock, from above the table. Supplied with 3 insert rings for various size router bits. Can also accept 2pce template follwing bushes often used with dovetail jigs and other accessories.
Designed and pre-set to work perfectly with the Carbatec RT-RPU2400 24000W Router Power Unit.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
While this unit drops perfectly into our Carbatec tables, it should be noted that the retention system for the lift itself is somewhat different. Our router lift is held in the table by two screws positioned in the centre of the short side, where the Kreg unit is designed to be held in the table with 4 screws, one in each corner. The work around will be pretty simple, only requiring
A/ Drill a countersunk hole to match the Carbatec retaining screw location..
or
B/ a small block or plate underneath the lift, to hold it down.
