Carbatecs TJ-XC range of Helical Head Thicknesser / Jointer combination machines has a wide, machine ground cast iron bed jointer on the top and a cast bed thicknesser underneath.  Helical Head with radius edge carbide insert knives, angled to give you a shear cut action.  Quiet, clean and superior finish in the crankiest of timbers.  Independent infeed/outfeed table adjustment, precision tilting aluminium fence and all the safety features you would expect on a commecial machine, like Euro bridge guard, NVR switching, and electrical interlock on the cutterhead dust chute.

Where space is an issue, these combination machines come into thier own.  They have a compact footprint, but have the same build quality as dedicated stand alone machinery.  Featuring a single lift top, this machine differs from many others as no partial dissasemby, fence removal etc, are required to change from one mode, to the other. Unlock - Lift - Flip and Go!  The top also lift up from the front, so access to the rear of the machine is not required (another important point in a compact workshop).
