This Metric set includes 15 mm; 20 mm; 25 mm; 30 mm and 35 mm forstner style bits. Forstner Bits are necessary to drill through-holes or flat-bottomed (blind) holes to a precise depth for woodworking projects or hardware installations. Unlike most drill bits which are guided by the tip, Forstner bits are guided by the wide outside rim of the bit.
