The parts are meticulously machined from 6061 aluminium extrusion and finished with a sleek black anodised coating. Unlike other fences, JessEm goes the extra mile by crafting the knobs from 6061 aluminium through precision machining, adding to its visually stunning and long-lasting appearance.
To set this fence apart from the competition, the sub-fences are made of Torrefied Maple. Expertly cut, machined, and laser engraved in JessEm's wood shop, these sub-fences offer tool-free adjustments with convenient locking knobs located on the backside of the fence. The dust port fitting is designed to accommodate a 2-1/4" diameter vacuum hose fitting on the inside and a 2-1/2" vacuum hose fitting on the outside.
Additionally, the fence includes unique fence face shimming bars, laser engraved for easy identification. These bars allow for offsetting the outfeed fence face by either 1/32" or 1/16" for various planing functions. They conveniently store in the shimming bar holder when not in use.
