Their outstanding performance on a wide variety of materials will keep them locked in your favourite grinder. Wood, plastic, drywall, rubber, fibreglass, or soft stone, they will be your go-to workhorse for any task. NOTE: Should only be used on non-metallic materials.
The Original Coating creates a smooth cutting action and is easy to control. It works exceptionally well on harder woods.
The Shaping Disc is semi-flat and allows you to effortlessly level high spots or adjust uneven surfaces. The structured teeth wrap over the outer diameter, allowing for edge-on detailing. Despite their relatively flat shape, their slight curvature allows for controlled, free-hand, flat or convex shaping.
Mounting Instructions: The Discs and Dish Wheels feature a 7/8" I.D. and are intended to mount on a standard electric angle grinder with a 5/8" shaft. They mount on the 7/8" shoulder found on the flange or adapter included with most angle grinders. The flange is put on the grinder first, then the wheel and the nut. *Metric Mounting: Use M14 Nut + 14mm I.D. flange with 22mm shoulder.
Compatible with most angle grinders, including Bosch, DeWalt, Milwaukee Makita, Black Decker, Ryobi, Hitachi more. Recommended operating speed range: 5,000 - 15,000 RPM.
Cleaning: They can be easily cleaned using a torch or a quick few passes with a soft wire brush. The heat will not harm the teeth!
