Veritas 300mm Metric Edge Rule

These Veritas rules have an acute interior angle to ensure that they seat well, even over saw whiskers, and bevelled edges with etched graduations to minimize parallax errors. The great advantage of this style of rule is that it saddles the edge of a workpiece, making it easy to hold accurately in position when measuring and marking layout lines. This design also simplifies transfer of perpendicular lines from face to edge and is particularly convenient when holding and marking off dowel rod stock.
You can also use the rules on a flat surface and, since the shape makes them much easier to pick up than a flat rule, you may find yourself reaching for them as your go-to rules. This style of rule is also available in 150mm and 450mm lengths.
