Carbatec TJ-250P Planer/Thicknesser (Formerly AW106PT)

We’ve updated the look and product code of our AW106PT to the new TJ-250P, but rest assured—this machine retains the exact same proven specifications as our trusted original model.

Designed as an economical take on the European-style planer/thicknesser, the TJ-250P is a true workshop space saver. The flip-up tables allow quick conversion to thicknesser mode, while the noise-dampening slots help reduce operating noise for a more comfortable working environment.

A serrated steel infeed roller and urethane outfeed rollers ensure smooth, consistent feeding. The European-style alloy cutterhead guard provides excellent timber access during planing while maintaining maximum safety when used with push blocks. For optimal performance, we strongly recommend pairing this machine with a minimum 2HP dust collector, ensuring efficient chip extraction and a cleaner workspace.

The 3-knife straight cutterhead uses easily removable HSS knives that can be sharpened. Keeping a spare set of blades on hand allows for quick changeovers, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.
