With a 5:1 taper ratio, these chisels provide clear access to common dovetail angles and are available in 9.5mm (3/8") and 12.7mm (1/2") widths. This is the set of both fishtail chisels.Each chisel features a lapped and polished back, ensuring unmatched edge sharpness. Made from A2 tool steel, they are double-tempered and cryogenically treated for exceptional edge retention. The blades extend 89 mm beyond the ferrule, fitting comfortably in most hands, with a longer version available for larger hands.With resin-infused Figured Maple handles, the blades of these chisels are razor sharp and ready to use straight out of the box, with no need for additional sharpening.
