The 10mm main shaft slots straight into the 10mm collet on your ER16-MT2 unit. That frees up the 8mm collet from your original set, plus the extra 10mm collet included here, so you can clamp a wide range of shank sizes with confidence. Thanks to the way collets grip, you'll also handle slight manufacturing tolerance variance without any fuss.
