Like other traditional Swedish Sloyd tools, these US made Sloyd tools from Flexcut are tough and well made.The KN51 Double Bevel Sloyd Hook Knife is razor sharp straight from the box - no need to sharpen first. This double bevel tool can be used right or left handed, in push or pull style. With an overall length of 216mm and a 19mm radius, it is an ideal choice for carving spoons, bowls, ladels and other deep hollowed work.
The tang extends all the way through the quality Cherry hardwood handle and is secured with a brass ferrule for strength and beauty. The core of the blade is made of high-carbon steel which gives exceptional edge retention.A quality carving tool for every "Spoonies" arsenal.NB* Regular honing is recommended to maintain the edge.
