i2R 4th Axis Rotary Kit - Expand the potential of your i2R A Series CNC!
This plug-and-play accessory will allow automated machining on cylindrical objects such as pool cues and more. This expands the capacity of your 3 axis machine, into a 4th Rotary axis for fully controlled rotary machining. Think Barley twists, Decorative Relief Carved Table Legs, Personalised Pens and much more. Simply mount this headstock and tailstock to your slotted aluminium table, and plug it into the dedicated port already found on your machine.The current release of Vectric's V-Carve includes a 'profile wrapping' function, allowing you to begin creating amazing 3-dimensional work. Master the art of 3D modeling, profile wrapping and extruding to fully realise the potential of your CNC work.Specifications and inclusions:

Mounted on an i2R A24 you will have 1070mm max. between centres
Mounted on an i2R A23 you will have 760mm max. between centres
Mounted on an i2R A22 you will have 460mm max. between centres
Chuck capacity is 80mm (3.14")
Chuck diameter is 100mm (3.93")
Diameter of through hole is 13mm (.5")
Center height is 75mm (2.95") (150mm max diameter swing)
Minimum stepper increment is a tiny 0.0023 degree!
Overall height is 140mm (5.51")

NB* Will also fit previous Axiom AR Pro+ Series Models3D Capable software is required. Vectric V-Carve Pro has limited capability for 4th Axis machining. Vectric Aspire has many more advanced features for 3D carving and is recommended for 4th Axis kits. There are however, many CAD/CAM software packages on the market - ensure you select one with capabilities to suit your 4th Axis to get the most from this equipment.
