The lathe bed is a standout featurecrafted from precision-ground ASTM A36 steel (tougher and more durable than cast iron) with an extra-wide 208 mm profile. This ensures smooth, stable movement of the headstock, tailstock, and tool rest across the bed.

The powerful 2HP induction motor, paired with a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive), provides high torque across the speed range, especially at lower RPMs. A one-lever belt tensioning system makes speed range changes fast and intuitive.
