This general-purpose set for woodworking contains four Skip, a Skip Reverse and an MGT blade type. There are 3 of each type for a total of 18 in the set.The Skip blade is a universal scroll saw blade and is very efficient for medium and hardwoods. The wide range of Skip blades allows for the cutting of intricate patterns as well as rough-cut work. It will accept a fast feed rate and will leave a smooth finish.Skip Reverse blades have the same tooth geometry as Skip but with an addition of reverse teeth at the bottom of the blade. Reverse blades prevent splinters on the underside of the workpiece. This is an excellent blade for softer woods.Modified Geometry Teeth (MGT) is the best blade on the market. The specific tooth design makes this blade extremely efficient. These blades tolerate aggressive feed rates, avoid overheating and leave a smooth finish with no splinters.
