Veritas® PM-V11 Blade 2" to suit Veritas #4 Smooth Plane and #5-1/4W Bench Plane

This PM-V11 Blade suits the Veritas #5-1/4W and #4 Bench Planes. The blade is 51mm wide x 3.2mm thick blade, with the back of the blade lapped to flat in the working area.
Veritas have developed all of their tools with unique twists and features setting them aside from everything else. The PM-V11 blades are no exception to this. Functionality and value for money has always been the driving force behind all of the innovative designs the team at Veritas have come up with.
Veritas have come up with a steel that can be used as chisel and plane blades, and they called it PM-V11. It is has good edge retention, impact resistance and ease and speed of sharpening making it their ultimate blade of choice for chisels and hand planes.
All plane blades come lapped, so are ready for use, though a final honing is recommended.
