The Robert Sorby Captive Ring Tools cutters locate positively to ensure safety while in use. The flat shank of the chisel rests firmly on the tools rest giving full control through the cut. This 1/2" captive ring tool giving larger rings.
Cutters should be maintained using a diamond stone, and honed regularly to extend their usable life. Additional cutters of varying sizes are also available.
