There are obstacles in life that need constant maintenance or upkeep, controlling dust in the workshop is one of them.
The Bench Sweep from Rockler goes a long way to controlling the dust, eliminating the larger particles from going into the dust extractor, all while being able to closed so acting as a blast gate. When not in use, or when other machines along the dust extraction line are in use, it can be closed. It can be used with or without the grate fitted, so will catch larger, and sometimes valuable pieces such as pieces from projects from being sucked away into the dust network, and hooks are fitted at the ends and back to hold the grate and brushes so they are close at hand.
Made from a light weight polymer, it mounts easily to the end of the bench, and connects to standard 2-1/2" hose.
