This set consists of the two Pfeil Schaller Carving Knives (small 30mm and large 45mm), along with the two Pfeil Canard Carving Knives (small 30mm and large 45mm).Schaller knives have a crowned blade. The back is also rounded so that it does not contact the work. As a result, these knives can be used to carve concave curves and flat surfaces. Canard knives are designed for especially fine chip carving. The blade has a straight cutting edge and is ground thin.All four knives feature plum wood handles. Supplied in canvas chisel roll.Weight: 220g.
