The Carbatec 375W Benchtop Oscillating Spindle Sander sets the benchmark for quality and versatility.
Oscillating Spindle Sanders (also known as Bobbin Sanders) are designed for curve-work, rounded edges and intricate designs. By oscillating the sanding spindle up and down, it exposes the workpiece to more of the spindle, so that any heat generated from the sanding process is not concentrated and is therefore less likely to burn the edge of the workpiece, and prolong the life of the sandpaper.
Its solid cast iron and precision machined work surface provides ample work space for larger jobs without fear of tipping, while still remaining compact enough to store away when not in use, freeing up that much needed workshop space.
The 45-degree tilting table locks positively with the strong and supportive trunnion mechanism, allowing compound internal and external curve sanding with ease.
Sandling drums are easily removable allowing for easy swapping of one sleeve for another depending on the radius of the curve you’re sanding.

Supplied with 5 steel and rubber sanding spindles with sanding sleeves that give you approx 85mm of max. sanding length, and an range of optional grits are available. Heavy steel table infill plates (not plastic) provide great workpiece support at any angle, with any spindle diameter. Built for a long and hassle-free life.
