The Industrial Cabinet Saw is engineered for heavy duty cycle environments. It comprises a thicker cast iron table for added stability and precision as well as thicker gauge steel in the cabinet, rails, tube and fence, compared to the Contractor and Professional models.
It also has larger hand wheels for easy adjustment and two large access doors for quick access and maintenance are also some additional features.
SawStop is known for the brake mechanism and preventing life changing injuries. However this is not where the research and development has stopped, all models have been designed "for woodworkers by woodworkers". This means an engineer has not under engineered something to reduce weight or cost.
You will see the quality when you assemble your new saw, from the quality of the build, to the way the nuts and bolts are packaged. The manual is comprehensive, giving the end user the confidence in their new purchase.
Assembling the saw on a mobile base means it can be moved into position easily, and then moved out of the way in the future. This model comes with a 36" rail.
It is recommended that a spare blade and brake are bought at the time of purchase.
